Saturday Snapshots #252

I'm sure there are Wilder ways to spend your Saturday morning, but I doubt they're as much fun as Saturday Snapshots.

Below are some pictures and clues that will lead you to identify a bunch of popular music stars from days gone by. Who are they and what connects their songs?

And because I think the link is pretty tough this week, I've given you two extra clues...

12. Roman Empire, Berlin Wall, House of Usher.

11. Inside the house, Charles still gets a tan, somehow.

10. Heroic Bum.

9. Perception minus commodities.

8. Muddled, in a moron's RV.

7. Sven Magnus Øen Carlsen and Barry Allen feel all pent up.

6. Bloody emus!

5. Rubber Duck.

4. Instigator of Temptation.

3. Gregorian Horse.

2. Colin Firth hates them.

1. Height, width, depth, time...

Don't go Stir Crazy waiting for the answers. They will be revealed tomorrow morning...

  8. Got it ... no I haven't
2 options that "nearly " fit
    Sun / Shine
    Together

Both nearly work, but I'm guessing you're wanting something more definitive than a wild stab in the dark

    1. I'm thinking it could be more like the opposite of Rigid Digit's first option.

You might all want to consider the number of clues this week...

  9. Is the link "too late" (based on two of the artistes, Van Morriosn and The Fall)?

    1. On the basis of The Fall, Grandmaster Flash and The Moody Blues, is it White?

    1. If 7 is Scorpio and 8 is Virgo Clowns then I think George may have solved it. No idea what most of the others would be though

    2. I had to Google Harvey Sid Fisher, but yes. Congratulations, George.

    3. Ah well done. I couldn't see the stars for the moon.

    4. Had it been the moon I’m sure I would have been in there first! I miss my moon posts but you’ve given me an idea Rol.

Would have got four of the above but you’ve got to get up early or like Brian, live on the other side of the world and stay up late. (Alyson)
