5. Calling myself a testicle. ID required.
4. Woken up early by repeated bangs.
3. Hit in the gob with burnt feet.
2. Listening to The Knack, Toto and Hall & Oates on the wireless while cutting a Roman into four.
1. Girls want them... but not every evening.
Answers on a Chelsea mor... sorry, I meant Sunday morning.
Ha ha - My timing is perfect this morning!
ReplyDeleteNo. 6 is Whitney Houston - I Wanna Dance With Somebody?
No. 4 is Dawn - Knock Three Times?
ReplyDeleteTony Orlando and Dawn to be precise!
DeleteI got the easy one in Whitney Houston (#6). The rest I'm struggling with.
ReplyDelete#5:The Bollock Brothers - I'll need help with the song from someone
The easy one!! They're only easy if you know the answer as they say on those telly quiz shows.
DeleteTo me it's easy, her face looks similar to when she was famous. I Wanna Dance (boogie) With Somebody is a good guess although the Texas reference confuses me.
DeleteTeasing Chris! Houston is in Texas.
DeleteIs 7 The Kingsmen?
ReplyDeleteNot sure of the song. The only one I know is Louie Louie which I don't think fits
It does.
DeleteNo 10 - Is it Mary Chapin Carpenter? Not sure about the song.
ReplyDeletePassionate Kisses
DeleteNo 8 - Is it anything to do with Stealer's Wheel?
ReplyDeleteOk so I cheated and googled Jock Steele to find out if he exists - Don't!
DeleteNo.2 Latin Quarter - Radio Africa.
ReplyDeleteObvious now - I was racking my brains for an artist called Sharona Rosanna Darryl-John who had a big hit with Italian Quarter!
DeleteNo 3 - Smash Mouth: Walkin' On The Sun.
ReplyDeleteNo.8 Ian McNabb - You Must Be Prepared to Dream.
ReplyDeleteNot Jock Steele then!
DeleteHave I not had enough coffee yet, or is it extra tough this week?
ReplyDeleteMore coffee is always an idea.
DeleteI'm done for today - Good fun as ever though. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteIs no. 1 a band called Fun and a song called Some Nights? (Thinking 'Fun' would be the only word to fit the clue I looked it up to see if it was a band - and saw the song title - but to be honest I wouldn't have known otherwise!)
ReplyDeleteAlthough have just realised that for about the last 3 months an old copy of Q has been sitting in our loo with a massive advert for this on the back cover and I've looked at it so many times and even commented that it was a really crappy ad.... so I should have known. How weird, though!
