Saturday Snapshots #275

"Right, " said Fred, "Both of us together

Can solve these pesky Snapshots in one go."

Tried to crack them, couldn't even hack them

We was getting nowhere

And so we had a cuppa tea and waited for you lot to turn up and do the job for us.

  3. I'm new to this. Number one is I think the pre solo band that Paul Young was in and their novelty smash hit Toast.
Not sure on 4. But I'll applaud the lad with the ginger hair for having cajones to go out looking like that.
I'll think about the rest. Swc.

    1. Good to see you having a go, SWC, especially as it was the old Saturday morning feature that you and Badger used to run which acted as an inspiration for Snapshots. (Memory has eroded the details, but I used to love playing along.)

    1. Odetta - saw that lovely clip that the photo is from only recently. One of the first songs I ever learned to sing.

    1. Too late now as had a hairdressing appointment, but one of the ones I knew. Always loved the lead singer's beautiful well-nourished hair. Needless to say, even post hairdressing appointment, mine is not as beautiful and well-nourished. Pesky middle-aged hair.

  11. Only No. 7 left. I suspect the name is something to do with Ruby Murray/Curry but don't recognise the chap. Others might however.
