Saturday Snapshots #66
Here we come, walking down the street, get funniest looks from everyone we meet... Hey hey, we're the Saturday Snapshots gang, but we're not gonna monkey around. Because we're too busy working out the ten artists and song titles from the clues below... to put anybody down.
I'm A Believer that you'll get them all right...
10. Undetached hedgehog calls last orders.
9. American revolutionary soldiers visit Chinese medicine man.
8. DNA Friendly Bing, doubles the aristocracy.
7. Afternoon cinema blackout starts World War.
6. Homer in space; Brooklynite.
5. Old rope from terrible circumstances.
4. Feline superhero at home in the pub.
3. Broadway coffee award-winner found in Hammersmith Palais, eating greens with a gator girl.
2. I am on swirl: the object of my desire.
1. Bob's future is in hand: great detective work.
It'll be a Pleasant Valley Sunday morning when I reveal the answers...

ReplyDelete2 Mari Wilson -Just What I Always Wanted
ReplyDelete8 Gene Chandler - Duke of Earl
ReplyDeleteGot 6, 7, 4 and 2 (thought no-one had got Mari Wilson but then spotted CC had jumped in) - Only leaves No. 3 and he looks so familiar but can't think of the name. Is there a costa in the name I wonder? Am guessing he's from the late 60s, is American and a folk rock singer/songwriter?
ReplyDeleteCountry. And CC should be hanging his head in shame for not getting him. You'll find a big clue over on his blog sometime on the past few posts.
DeleteI see C has now got this one - Wouldn't have got it myself though even after trawling CC's last few posts. Get the Tony part (Broadway) and the polk salad but not the rest. A tough but clever clue.
DeleteHanging head as I type
DeleteI wouldn't have got this, but Mr SDS saw No. 3 straight away and said, "Tony Joe White". And the song - Polk Salad Annie? - can't work back the clues though!
ReplyDeleteA reference to 'White Man In Hammersmith Palais' has just struck me!
