It's Saturday.

These are the snapshot.

Guess the artist and song title for each one, please.

10. Non-stop paintings of the place most of us live in.

9. Betty & Wilma, perhaps? Something tells me none of you will get this.
8. Marcos might like some new shoes to teach Thunders how to sound.

7. Edwyn's gang gets squeezed by a bunch of traitors.

6. Legendary African city seems even more ridiculous in the dazzling light of tomorrow.

5. Much excitement over the mystery of a Lost Boy.

4. A little Italian asks you to double-check your answers.

3. Charlie's rival falls into a chocolate Vesuvius.

2. Titanic lady and some old electric cars go rambling.

1. A knife puts on new clothes.

I think these might be a bit tough this week. So it might take you till noon...

  9. You are right Rol this week's riddles are tough (at least to me). Which makes it surprising the quiz is almost done, and it's only 11.30am uk time!

I'm left with a difficult one. Perhaps #5 has something to do with Peter Pan and the lost boys

    1. Kind of. A slightly more modern version, perhaps...

  10. Somewhere In Neverland by All Time Low. The pic you shared has two band mates who look alike, so do two guys in All Time Low

  11. Good thinking. Wrong answer.

  12. Chris - Think of a band with the word Vampire in the title!

  13. Or... Don't. Although vampires are relevant.

    1. Peter Pan was the Lost Boy I think. I'm stuck after that

    2. Ok - Thought I was helping but obviously not. Vampires relevant though so got that right.

  14. If only there was a film involving vampires related to that, and if only a band had written a song about one of that film's stars...

  15. 8 Imelda May - Johnny's Got A Boom Boom

Yes, I finally got one by deciphering the clue, not resorting to Google Image Search

    1. I don't like the sound of that Google Image Search... can it be done by picture?

    2. If you mean can you take your picture and chuck it into google, I don't think any of us know how to do that or else one of us would just get all the answers straight away. Possibly RigidDigit means the use of Image to verify an answer?

    3. Oh, well - that's fair enough.

    4. The usual process is:
"Who does that look like? Image Search to check I'm right", and then spend the next hour trying to decipher the cryptic clue
      (I'm getting better - honest!)

    5. Sometimes I can't decipher the clues when I come to write up the answers!

  16. Sorry Rol, I think my first comment sounded a bit negative and I didn't mean it to!
Suffice to say I love trying to work out your clues and spot familiar faces but I'm too late today!

    1. No worries, C - your point is noted though! ;-)

    2. You are right C - We love pub quizzes but only if phones are banned. I find that with Snapshots, around 1 or 2 of the artists are instantly recognisable (O'Jays this week), then the clues lead you to 2 or 3 more - After that I am usually stumped!

  17. Fell asleep early last night and didn’t get to play. Well done, crew. Loved the clues for 7 and 5. Veruca Salt was the only photo I recognized straightaway.
