Occurred to me I might be the only one in the Saturday Snapshots Gang who did have the big white wedding. But here's thing, I come from a village where I would not have been allowed to do anything else, and... my parents paid for it!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Alyson. I'm not against trad weddings if it's what both people want. And I imagine the cost to your parents would have been considerably less than the amount people spend these days. It's become a bit of a money-making scam these days, I think.
DeleteTrue. DD had her White Wedding in 2023 and to carry on the family tradition we paid for most of it - much more expensive nowadays as you say, and of course, I missed it as I was in hospital!

I have scanned the answers above and I don't think #14 and #13 have been answered. I have no idea who #14 is, something like Brian (or Harold) Eddie Edward? seems unlikely. Can't fit Strange Days etc into a band I have heard of
