Saturday Snapshots #153

I'm Out Of Time to do a fancy intro this week... so here are the Snapshots.

Solve them before tomorrow morning, please.

10. Song about writing about songs, written by a songwriter who sounds like a songwriter who writes the songs... with a bit missing.

9. Stealing Liz or Andy is a puzzle.

8. Santana Samba gets an A in winter sports... fortunate lass!

7. Prestige, dropped by Joan.

6. World Eater at the tiller, like The Godfather said.

5. A horse or a gun for Dear Madonna... is that what you meant?

4. Sons of ageing MacDonald go bucolic.

3. Shorter cave dwellers and crazy item.

2. Dog saint and manservant get together.

1. Mr. Jawbones... isn't it a bit early for that, first thing on a Saturday morning?

    1. He's looking rather lovely these days, don't you think?!

    2. He is indeed - Unlike many of them he has aged well. I watched the whole of Live Aid on DVD recently and he was one of the acts on the day. I remarked at the time that he looked just so young and even had a few teenage spots - Turns out he would have been 27. Destined to always look younger than his years.

    3. It was on "Wanted! The Outlaws" album along with "You Mean To Say". The album was the first sampler of "Outlaw Country" songs by the likes of Waylon Jennings and Willie Nelson.

  13. 8 - Patti Scialfa - Lucky Girl (from Mrs. Brian)
Another brainteaser that I love. Patti= Pa Ti from Santana's "Samba Pa Ti" and A in winter sports (alpha ski). And a fortunate lass? Lucky Girl Yes, scary that you and I think alike.
