Saturday Snapshots #257

I was 19 when Freddie Mercury died. I remember sitting in a Monday morning lecture at uni with tears in my eyes. Still haven't quite got over it. But most of the other students in that lecture hall couldn't care less that Freddie was no longer with us.

Sometimes the death of a famous person has a huge effect on you and nobody gets why. On other such occasions, it seems like loads of people are wailing and gnashing their teeth while you remain completely unmoved. Respect where it's due, broad church, live and let live etc... I mean, I'm still coming to terms with losing Olivia Newton-John too.

Life goes on for the rest of us though... as does Saturday Snapshots.

Identify the ten acts below and work out what connects their tunes...

10. Careful - you can cut yourself on this number!

9. This is what happens when your dating app freezes.

8. Does Liam Love It?

7. Big Irish Dogs.

6. Reagan & Clinton, perhaps?

5. What Captain Kirk sings at Christmas.

4. Richard Hall's wine producer.

3. Miner 7th.

2. Where Murdoch lives.

1. Zane's rural havoc.

You will have your answers tomorrow because I will give them to you.

    1. Tasty scraps though, Brian.

(And before anyone suggests it, the link is nothing to do with "People Who Died".)

  7. Sorry to be late, was out all day yesterday. The internet tells me Ron & Bill's only single was "It", so is the connection pronouns - "She" (Charles Asnavour), "Him" (Rupert Holmes) etc?
