10 -Spizz Energi - Where's Captain Kirk?
ReplyDelete6 - Lynn Anderson - Rose Garden
ReplyDeleteJust beat me to this one!
Delete2 - Kid Creole and the Coconuts - Stool Pigeon?
ReplyDelete4 Richard Hawley - Baby You Are My Light
ReplyDeleteWrong song.
DeleteTonight The Streets Are Ours
DeleteDon't want to hog the answers by being the early bird but one more artist:
ReplyDeleteNo 1 - Dave Edmunds. Not sure of the song.
Crawling from the Wreckage
Delete7 Bonnie Prince Billy - I See a Darkness
ReplyDelete8: Jim Croce
ReplyDelete3 Siouxsie And the banshees -playground twist
ReplyDeleteWrong song.
Delete3: Peek-a-Boo
DeleteToo late to enter but have to take issue with the Siouxsie & Banshees photo - that's Siouxsie with Debbie from the Bromley Contingent, Phillip Salon and Malcolm McLaren - no Banshees in sight!
DeleteApologies for that, C. Every other photo I found, Siouxsie was front and centre and far too recognisable. (She is iconic.) I chose a pic where she was in the background to try to make it harder.
DeleteI understand - I'm just being a punk pedant!
Delete8: hooked needles=blades? Song I assume is Time in a Bottle (used in the QuickSilver slow-motion scene in X-Men: Days of Future Past)
ReplyDeleteNo, the hooked needles are for crochet.
Delete8: "You Don't Mess Around With Jim" is a warning
Delete9 Irene Cara - Flashdance
ReplyDeleteThat's the one that's been bugging me - So familiar looking but couldn't work it out! Argh...
DeleteMe too, she looked familiar, couldn't place the name!
DeleteJust number 5 to get then. Surprised at that. Scottish band alert!
ReplyDeleteNot from my era and too brightly coloured to be an indie band. Magic something?
Delete5 Supernaturals
ReplyDeleteDay Before Yesterday's Man?
So not Magic something!
DeleteWrong song.
DeleteI wasn't Built to get up at this Time
