Thank The F-Word It's Friday #1

This seemed like an appropriate series to celebrate the arrival of Friday. Chris Evans will not be mentioned after today.

Songs featuring the F-Word then. Let's start with New Yorker Nate Amos, an extremely prolific young man who has self-released hundreds of songs as This Is Lorelei over the past ten years, and finally got around to putting out his debut album earlier this year. The album's called Box for Buddy, Box for Star, and here's a nice jangly little pop song that won't get played on the radio...

  1. A sad decline in moral standards. I would go further and say its an effing disgrace.

If this appalling idea does turn into a series I sincerely hope you won't be featuring this deeply offensive song:

  2. Yes, more please! I confess (?) I love the word fuck. Sometimes there's just no other, better word. And it's so versatile. No wonder it's the world's favourite swear-word, according to lovely Dictionary Corner superstar Susie Dent.

  4. A word that's used a lot around here too. So much so that Mr WIAA forgets himself when in company and doesn't even realise he's saying it. As SA said such a versatile word.
