THE GUN #1
GUN #2
Glaswegian rock band formed in 1987 who changed their name to G.U.N. following the Dunblane massacre. They enjoyed a number of minor hits in the 90s, though they'll most likely be remembered for their Top Ten cover of the old Cameo song... They split up in '97, but they're back together and still touring today.
THE GUNS #3
Early-mid 80's Hardcore Punk band from Cleveland, Ohio.
There was also an Italian band called The Guns who sounded (from the discogs description) to be in a similar vein to these guys... but I couldn't find any of their music.
Plus, way back in the 50s there was a bunch of Guns who are described as "the first pop group in Halden, Norway." Sadly, no evidence could be found, not even of their song "Dry Champagne"...
THE GUNS #4
...but I did manage to track down these noisy Welsh Guns from about fifteen years back...
Shoot - that's all I could find today. Do any hit the target for you... or are they all misfires?
#1 for me please. I think #2 must have passed me by completely. There is a number #5, from Springfield where the Simpsons live:

Unfortunately I can remember that Weegie band
DeleteI am disappointed you have omitted that well-known KOrean rapper who calls himself Gun.
ReplyDeleteI live to disappoint.
Deleteso, as much as I like #4, it has to be #1
ReplyDeleteI'll go for my fellow Weegies
ReplyDeleteI have a charity shop CD by them which I remember first listening to in the Co-op car park in Anstruther.
How evocative
DeleteWere you on your skateboard, with the ghetto blaster on a car roof?
