ReplyDeleteCould the link be running/legs running?
ReplyDeleteor just legs - parts of legs and what they do?
DeleteI'm thinking on similar lines, but it might be walking or following. I've just worked out #7 from Rol's Clue of the Year whose only 'hit' was "Footsteps Following Me"
DeletePretty much there. It's parts of the leg or foot. Or lower body in case anyone wants to argue about hip.
DeleteWell done, Alyson.
DeleteWell done Alyson, only 7 minutes in!
DeleteWell done Alyson - great job
DeleteThanks. You guys do the really hard work on getting the less well known snapshots - I get the ones from "the olden days". I used to hang out with them!
DeletePlayed, Alyson. You walked it this week.
DeleteJM
Yes, John, I saw a theme and ran with it.
DeleteI should really have got that one. I refer the plaintiff to an email from my client to him of 5 October concerning arrangements for a guest edition of Snapshots in which my client stated (direct quote):
Delete"I had been thinking about one on legs and parts of legs but in the absence of any songs about a fibula I can't get 15 different bits so abandoned that idea"
I may need to consult my lawyers (yet again!)
When you sent that email, I almost replied, "Don't do that one, I have one ready to go on the same subject". And then I stopped myself, realising I was giving you this week's answer. Instead I kept schtum and only replied to the first part of your email.
DeleteYou looked that gift horse in the mouth Ernie.
DeleteAs the best I could hope for would be 'Not Proven' in a Scottish court I withdraw my allegation and put it down to great minds thinking alike.
DeleteOut of interest, did you find any songs about fibulas?
Sadly not.
DeleteAnd at 10:26 a contender also for Monday Long Song…

Delete2 Steve Earle?
ReplyDeleteNot Steve. A much BIGGER star.
DeletePavarotti, when he was small.
DeletePavarotti (only got it when I stopped including 'The' in the anagram)
DeleteShould have got it sooner. His version of 'Knees Up Mother Brown' on his 'Pavarotti Sings Cockney Classics' album is a delight.
DeleteSteve Earle/Pavarotti
DeleteYou never see them both in the same room!
Ernie and CC do Flanagan and Allen.
DeleteJust 3,13,14 to go plus maybe 2.
