  4. 11 I recognise We've Got A Fuzzbox but not who's with them

  5. 11 is the Vindaloo Summer Special line-up - Fuzzbox, Nightingales and Ted Chippington. To the best of my knowledge the only record they made as a collective was the brilliant "Rocking With Rita (Head To Toe)" , if that helps at all.

    1. It's the Nightingales. The rest of them are surplus to requirements

    2. Presumably "Seconds" not "Elvis, the Last Ten Days". The latter is the B side to "Paraffin Brain", one of the greatest singles ever made:

    1. I can see where you're coming from with 8, Ermie - it was the (Steve) Lilywhite wife clue which confirmed my suspicions

    2. Indeed
Kirsty was married to Steve Lillywhite

  8. Prompted by JM's guess is it units of time from small to large culminating in a millennium. Basing that purely on Hedgehoppers Anonymous hit being "Good News Week" and C not me being right about 8

    1. Yes. It's units of time. We'll done, Ernie.

There's one other thing to notice about the songs...

    2. Oh, excess me, Ernie already spotted the other thing. Sorry. I'm doing this while also clearing out cat litter.

    5. Of course. You did the hard work, I am merely the goal hanger there to tap it over the line.

    2. It didn't. I used to be good at spotting the link early but just not fast enough nowadays for some of our other Snapshotters.

  10. Looks like I’ve turned up in time to clear the pitch, compost the peel from the half-time oranges and wonder who on earth made such a mess in the changing room.

    Great work, Ernie & John!
