Saturday Snapshots #166

Using an old shot since I don't have the bandwith to find a new one. Luckily I had a couple of these Snapshots left in the folder. Hopefully normal (broadband) service will resume shortly... but if I'm unable to bring you the answers to these tomorrow morning... well, I'm sure you'll work them out yourself.

10. There's a gritter right behind you on the motorway!

9. Star jettisons excess weight.

8. Fran Healy is up for it... just like dogs do.

7. American loan company, 2:45.

6. Connery hands Styx some reassurance: he won't let them fall.

5. Lady loses her religion at miserable dusk.

4. Dandruff VII makes you leave.

3. Hank Marvin gets a job on the side, with an ace spy, in an ancient meadow.

2. "Goodnight from him," says the ghost, with boss's backing. "And cheerio, Tinseltown."

1. Autumn haunting.

  11. I thought the clue had something to do with REM. Losing my religion is a southern thing here in the US - means getting really upset. Thought maybe the lyrics about an upset woman in I Became a Prostitute could be the song. Good brainteasers, as always! Thank you!
