ReplyDeleteSo REM song could be Nightswimming and Boz Scaggs would be Lido Shuffle. (It felt as if that was on ToTP every week for a while in '77, it probably wasn't but it really sticks in my mind for some reason - my impressionable age at the time perhaps and I didn't know what a lido was!)
I think in the song, Lido is a person. So it's nothing to do with actual lidos.
